多様な歩行者の居心地の良さの向上に役立てるため、東京都銀座中央通りで、歩行者観測実験を行います。 To help improve comfort for a diverse range of pedestrians, we are conducting a pedestrian observation experiment on Ginza Chuo-dori Street in Tokyo.
中央大学 理工学部 都市環境学科 都市空間デザイン研究室と、東京理科大学 創域理工学部 建築学科 井桁助教との共同調査として、歩行者天国を長年実施されている銀座中央通り（6～7丁目区間）を対象に歩行者の歩き方の分析を行います。歩行者天国の実施中に、歩行者の方々の「そぞろ歩き」度が高まるか検証し、さらなる歩きたくなるまちづくりに貢献して参ります。 As a joint survey between the Urban Space Design Laboratory (Department of Urban Environment Studies, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Chuo University) and Assistant Professor Igeta (Department of Architecture, Faculty of Advanced Engineering, Tokyo University of Science), we will analyze pedestrians' walking behavior on Ginza Chuo-dori Street (blocks 6–7), where a pedestrian paradise (car-free zone) has long been implemented. We will examine whether pedestrians' degree of leisurely strolling increases during the pedestrian paradise, and contribute to further placemaking that encourages walking.
